Billy Prine is a storyteller who presents concerts celebrating the songs of his late brother John Prine, telling stories surrounding the compositions before performing them with his band. He was one of the original bartenders at the Bluebird Café in Nashville when it opened in 1982, and later worked as a deejay at Chevy's in Nashville. Billy Prine leads shows featuring Scarlett Egan that combine narrative and performance of John Prine's songs.
