Árstíðir is an Icelandic band formed in Reykjavík whose music draws on a millennium of Icelandic culture woven together with contemporary sounds. The three members—Daníel, Gunnar, and Ragnar—are known for their vocal harmonies and use of strings, performing with French string musicians Jean-Samuel Bez on violin and Guillaume Lagravière on cello. The band has released nine studio albums and tours internationally across Europe, Siberia, North America, and other regions.
