Antisect is a British band known for their pioneering role in the anarcho-punk and crust punk genres. Formed in the early 1980s, their sound is characterized by aggressive guitar riffs, politically charged lyrics, and a raw, uncompromising energy. Influenced by bands like Crass and Discharge, Antisect combines punk's ethos with elements of heavy metal, creating a distinctive, hard-hitting sonic profile. Their music often addresses themes of social justice, environmental issues, and anti-establishment sentiments.
