Anika is a British-German musician known for her distinctive blend of post-punk and electronic music. Her sound is characterized by minimalist arrangements, often featuring stark bass lines and sparse, echo-laden vocals. Influenced by artists such as Nico and dub music, Anika's work often explores themes of political and social commentary. Her collaboration with producer Geoff Barrow of Portishead further defines her sound, combining raw, analog textures with a detached vocal style.
