Altered Images is a Scottish new wave band that gained prominence in the early 1980s. Known for their catchy, upbeat melodies and Clare Grogan's distinctive vocal style, the band blends post-punk energy with pop sensibilities. Their sound is influenced by acts like Siouxsie and the Banshees and Blondie, characterized by jangly guitars and synth-driven arrangements.
