Soon after picking up guitar, then songwriting, I had an epiphany: creating lyrics and music was my path in life. What better way to touch the heart, soul, body and mind simultaneously... in about 3 minutes?! After graduating from Stanford, I was mentored by Doc Pomus (This Magic Moment, Save the Last Dance For Me). My first song placement shot to #6 on the Billboard Dance Chart, and since then I've had hundreds of releases, including hit singles on the Dance, Pop, Adult Contemporary and International charts, 300-plus film and TV placements, and collaborations with luminaries such as Nile Rodgers and Cyndi Lauper.
