Agender is a post-punk band known for their raw, minimalist sound that blends elements of punk, new wave, and art rock. Their music is characterized by driving bass lines, angular guitar riffs, and a rhythmic intensity that draws influence from bands like The Slits and Wire. Formed in Los Angeles, Agender's work often explores themes of identity and societal norms, delivered with a direct and unembellished vocal style. Their approach to music is both introspective and confrontational, creating a distinctive presence in the contemporary punk scene.
